From lightbulb moments to helping someone find their way, teachers make a difference in ways big and small. World Teachers’ Day is a chance to pause and acknowledge the effort, care and dedication our teachers bring to their work every single day.
At Richmond Primary School, our teachers do far more than deliver lessons. They encourage curiosity, build confidence, and create classrooms where every child feels safe, valued and ready to learn. They show Respect, Inclusivity, Courage and Empathy in all they do, and our students learn from their example.
When we celebrate our teachers and show our appreciation, we help create a supportive and encouraging environment where they can thrive and continue making a positive impact on the minds and futures of our children and young people.
How you can get involved
Send a message of thanks. We encourage families to write a short note or message to your child’s classroom teacher, thanking them for the wonderful work they do all year round. Even a few kind words can mean a great deal.
Share your story. Think back to a moment when a teacher made a difference in your life. Perhaps they believed in you when you didn’t, or sparked a passion you still carry today. We’d love for you to share your story and help shine a light on the amazing work teachers do.
