Governing Council
Roles and Responsibilities of the Governing Council
The Governing Council plays a vital role in representing the views of the local community and advising the school on educational needs. It manages school finances, provides feedback on curriculum matters, and supports the school in various aspects such as facilities and resources.
Governing Council meets at least twice per term. Parents are elected to Governing Council at the AGM.

2026 Office Holders
· Chairperson (Brad Polling): Leads meetings, ensures effective communication, and acts as the spokesperson.
· Secretary (Adele Scuteri): Manages records, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
· Treasurer (Shannon Harrison): Oversees financial budgets and reports.
· Deputy Chairperson (Kim Cottell): supports the Chair, and ensures the council functions effectively.
Sub-committees
Finance
Responsible for advising on financial matters, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenditures.
Finance
Supports the quality of care in Out of School Hours Care, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective communication.
Fundraising
Planning of fundraising and social activities and events to supplement our annual finances.
Out of School Hours Sports Subcommittee
Organises after-hours sports programs and liaises between teams and the school.
