What an incredible two weeks we've had at OSHC! Our recent Vacation Care program was filled with excitement, creativity, laughter and plenty of wonderful memories!
From action-packed excursions to Funtopia and Inflatable World, to exciting incursions including our Silent Disco, Farm Barn, Reptile Show, Gaming Day and inflatable activities, the children had endless opportunities to explore, learn, play and have fun! đ
đĄ Adventures, Animals & Dancing!
Some of our biggest highlights were Funtopia, Silent Disco and Farm Barn, with the children enjoying these experiences so much that they've already been requesting them again for our next Vacation Care!
At Funtopia, the children had a fantastic time climbing, exploring and challenging themselves through exciting play activities, building their confidence and enjoying adventures with friends.
Our Farm Barn and Reptile Show provided wonderful opportunities for the children to learn about different animals, their behaviours and how to interact with and care for them safely and respectfully. They enjoyed getting up close with the animals while developing a greater understanding of their needs and wellbeing. đđ
The Silent Disco was another huge favourite! đĒŠđļ The children danced along to their favourite music with friends before putting their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test in an exciting treasure hunt! Working together, they followed hidden clues around the school, solving challenges to unlock the mystery treasure chest. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, cooperation and excitement!
đ¨ Creativity, Colour & Lots of Fun! đĒ
Alongside our excursions and incursions, the children enjoyed plenty of creative, hands-on activities!
Our tie-dye activities were a huge hit, with children transforming their clothing, hats and bags into colourful, one-of-a-kind masterpieces! đ They also explored their creativity and curiosity by making their very own personality slime globes, experimenting with different colours, textures and designs.
And of course, we couldn't forget our delicious cupcake decorating! đ§ The children loved creating their own sweet masterpieces before enjoying their tasty treats!
Throughout the holidays, there were also plenty of opportunities for outdoor games, imaginative play, group activities and relaxing with friends.
We wrapped up our holidays with our Carnival Pyjama Day! The children arrived in their comfiest pyjamas and enjoyed a fun-filled day of face painting, sweet treats, movies and relaxation. đĻđŋ
It was a wonderful way to wind down after two busy weeks and celebrate all the fun and friendships made throughout our Vacation Care program!

A special thank you to all the children who shared their ideas, feedback and suggestions, which helped us plan and choose many of the activities for this Vacation Care! We love involving our children in program planning and are already looking forward to bringing more of their wonderful ideas to life.

A very special thank you to our incredible educators for the care, energy and dedication they bring each day. Your hard work and enthusiasm in creating such a fun and memorable Vacation Care program truly made these two weeks such a success!
